This Art Quilt Video Continues Video 2 shows the art quilt  that were on display at the Santa Cruz County Building in July 27, 2018 . They were  on display on the first floor of the County Building, a very coveted spot due to the large number of people who pass through those halls.

All in all, I make many of my nature pieces using the fabric layering  technique. First, I  lay the back fabric on a table. Then I place the middle batting on top. Next I create a scene using fabric and decorative yarns. Finally, a layer of tulle netting covers the whole piece. Ultimately, I free motion quilt the three layers together.

This show is organize by the Arts Council of Santa Cruz County. This is just one of many ways that the Arts Council promotes the arts  and artists of Santa Cruz County.
